Hi There!!
My name is Monika aka Roadangel and I'm 41 years young, born on
October 6, 1965 which makes me a Libra. I have lived in La Crosse, WI since June,
1998. Prior to La Crosse, I lived in Salt Lake City,
UT for
nearly 10 years. I was born and raised close to Wiesbaden Germany and
most of my family still lives there.
I believe in Angels and I collect anything and everything about Angels that I can get my hands on. I also collect wind chimes and have lots of candles in my house. One of my hobbies is scrap booking.
Most of my time is devoted to my special long lost love, my dream come true, and soulmate Donny!
Donny is 38 years old (7-30-1968). Donny proposed on my 37th Birthday and we were married on May 17th 2003.
We have six children: Benjamin (EDD 3-12-2007), Tydon (9-13-99), Emily (9-21-97), Jessica (2-12-1996), Jenny, (7-1-1987) and David, (10-06-1984).
Jenny and her Fiance Kris just had a little baby boy named Thomas Leo on February 6th, 2007.
David was married to Mandy (3-22-1984) on May 26, 2001 and she gave birth to our first grand-son Jason on August 26, 2001 and our first grand-daughter on November 15, 2004. They also had a little baby boy named Joshua James on February 4th, 2007
I love to sing, dance, listen to all sorts of music, read, and write. I like going fishing and WISH I could go waterskiing, but our boat needs a bigger motor yet. I like doing a lot of different things and I usually try everything at least once. I love going to Riverjacks with my hubby and laughing my butt off because of some funny Comedian. However, nothing beats snuggling up with my hubby on the couch and watching a movie.
I like most every type of music with 80's Rock being my favorite. I like
Chicago, Journey,
John Denver and Faith Hill.
I also like Michael Bolton
a lot. His song "When I'm back on my feet again" helped me through my divorce.
I love to sing like Blondie and Pat Benatar and those two would have to be my female favorites!
When it comes to movies...
I dislike the old type Western and love Comedy.
I also like Action, Drama, Science Fiction and Family movies. My favorite movie
is called "Just one of the guys". My favorite actor is
Bruce Willis and my favorite comedian is George Burns. I also like
Jim Carrey
and Robin Williams. My favorite actress of all times is Angelina Jolie.
The sexiest actor alive is
Richard Gere and ever was Michael Landon (at least that's my taste).
I like making friends and meeting new people, but I have found that meeting good people is hard. I like people who know how to listen, express their feelings, and admit to their faults. I dislike people who think they know it all and people who think they're
"ALL THAT". I also dislike people who think they can manipulate me, or push me around...I feel that such is an attack on my intelligence. I like people who can be deep and honest...even if at times honesty....truth hurts.I guess I'm kind of particular who I call my friend, but when I call someone a friend it's usually for life.
